Diggin' it. Love the bassline. Good use of risers and solid transitions overall. I feel an epic build up and drop just around the corner. Looking forward to hearing the finished piece!

sorry about that. LOL. anyways, thanks so much for the review. love your music btw. out of time is my favorite. gotta dig that hour of bliss listening. cheers!

I'm not sure what DAW you are using, but I've got a couple thoughts:

1) I would EQ out around 4000hz on your main synth lead there. It's a little ear piercing and this is generally the frequency that will do that.

2) Maybe separate your bassline and add more low end frequencies (by EQing and duplicating and/or adding a compressor) and cut out the mid section of the frequencies on your bassline. It kinda sounds like the mid section is over saturated.

3) Transitions are super important. Whenever you are transitioning to a break down or build up, add risers, glitch out the drums, anything to make the transitions a "big deal".

4) Stereo widening techniques can be added here and there throughout but I would widen your snare for sure. Add a 9ms delay from the left and the right channels of it.

Just a couple thoughts. Keep it up =D

thank you for your tips, i will try the things you said. i don't hear the high pitch but i think maybe it's because you got a better headset. but i will lower the frequency arround 4000 hz :).
yaa i also had a hard time seperating the bass, i couldn't really find a good way, mostly i use to change the direction of where the sound is coming from, but thats really hard with a bass line and also makes it sound worse in my opinion.
and about the transitions, thats also kind of an opinion on music taste on how to do it i think.. but i will try what you said ^^.
thanks for sharing your thoughts :D i need more people who do this kind of crictical thinking, really helps :)

Ya, I dig. Creative collaboration. I like the middle the best. When it's just Daft Punk with your kick and bassline, it sounds really dope. I can't remember the funk sample you used, but I found it a little distracting. Maybe it was the quality of the sample used. It just didn't seem to quite mould in with the rest of it.... IMO. Great production overall though =D

Matashi responds:

Yeah i understand what you mean. I tried to make it way more better in the ending, but i did not work. But thanks anyway :)
